This feed is granted to lambs and goats for early weaning and growth. The granting of the present feed for the addiction and then the weaning must begin at the second week of lambs’ and goats’ life in a suitable place that will not be accessible to adult animals. Along with the feed, animals should be given at will good quality hay.
For the best addiction, lambs and goats should be isolated from their mothers initially for 6 hours. Then gradually increase the separation time as the animals grow, until complete weaning. Before returning to their mothers, sheep should be milked. After the age of 60 days this feed should be replaced gradually by the supplementary feed for weaning and fattening of lambs and goats (AX1).
In the case of feed granting to animals that are not used to eat large quantities of dry food, the initial amount should not be greater than 100grams per animal per day, which will gradually increase over the next few days.
