10th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management Chania, Greece

On June 22, 2023, the LIFE MiCliFeed project and the company CHRISTOFOROS DASKALAKIS AVEKTE, guests of the Green Fund, attended the session entitled: “The LIFE Programme, EU funding for the environment and climate action: the call for proposals is open! LIFE projects talk about the LIFE programme” which took place in the framework of the 10th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management Chania, Greece, 21 – 24 JUNE 2023 (https://chania2023.uest.gr/

This session presented the LIFE MiCliFeed project and the circular economy synergies between LIFE IP Circular Economy Implementation in Greece and LIFE MiCliFeed in the field of utilization of by-products and wastes of the primary sector for the production of bioactive feeds of high nutritional value for sheep and goats. Furthermore, the conclusion of a Voluntary Alliance between the involved bodies of Crete was announced towards strengthening their cooperation towards achieving the common goal of circular management of these wastes.
